Infos zum 10. Buch (bisher noch ohne Titel) und hoffentlich auch letztem Buch:

After BEES, I will be working on Book Ten (no title yet), which will be the last book in the OUTLANDER series of major novels that focus on Jamie and Claire. Book Ten will be another Large Novel, so it will take some time (several years at least) to complete.

And I have plans for multiple projects after Book Ten, such as a prequel novel about Jamie's parents, and perhaps a book about Master Raymond. Plus I have a contemporary mystery, set in Phoenix, Arizona, on the back burner.
Sometimes you just need to lay on the couch and read for a couple of years.

Several years? Oje... ich bin sowas von raus aus der Geschichte. Ich will doch nur wissen, warum Frank Jamie sehen konnte...

Several years - das klingt wirklich nicht gut  :rollen:. Ich finde, dieser ganze Quatsch mit der Verfilmung lenkt sie viel zu viel ab.  :->

Aber immerhin, die Ideen klingen prima!
Staunt euch die Augen aus dem Kopf, lebt, als würdet ihr in zehn Sekunden tot umfallen. Bereist die Welt. Sie ist fantastischer als jeder Traum, der in einer Fabrik hergestellt wird.

Ja das sieht man ja bei Game of Thrones.... Katastrophe, dass die Serie das Buch überholt hat.

Auf der deutschen Gabaldon-Seite habe ich eine Formulierung zum nächsten Band gelesen, die mir zu denken gegeben hat.
Und siehe da.
Auf der englischen Seite von DG hat sich was verändert...

ZitatBook Ten (as yet untitled) will be the tenth major novel in my Outlander series of novels.

It will follow GO TELL THE BEES THAT I AM GONE, the ninth major novel featuring the story of Claire and Jamie, which was first published on November 23, 2021.

Book Ten might be the last of my Outlander novels which feature Jamie Fraser and Claire Beauchamp Randall Fraser. Or it may not! I don't know yet but will be sure to let you know when I do.

Ach herrje, ich wäre ja auch für ein festes Finale der Reihe. Ma ehrlich, sie ist doch auch nicht mehr die jüngste ... was wenn die Reihe nie beendet werden kann ... wie man es bei manch anderen Autor*innen befürchten muss.

Das wird genauso ausgelutscht wie damals die Angelique Serie. Gewisse Ähnlichkeiten fand ich ja immer schon, aber nun ja. Hm. nee, mag nicht mehr.
