11-year-old Rose is autistic and struggles to understand her classmates. But when her father gives her a stray dog, which she names Rain, the dog becomes her best friend, her anchor in a confusing world. So when Rain goes missing during a storm, Rose refuses to stop looking for him...
A touching story from the bestselling author of The Babysitters Club.
My meaning
It's not a book of a dog. It's not a story of the surching.
This is a book of a little girl with a stonehearded dad, with problems because of her autistic. She has no mother only an oncle, who cares.
It's a sad book, one which makes you cry. (maybe)
It's a story about doing the right things, even when it's hard to do.
A story about understanding and friendship.
I really liked it, and I cried :rotwerd:
